Learning Activity 2:  Using Memoir to Meet the ELA Standards

Inquiry Topics: Who Are We, Who Are You: Using Memoir and Biography in ELA Discussion and How can Rosenblatt’s Theory Guide us?

Carrie will lead the class in a literacy expert/teacher demonstration   
Presentation of YA Summary and Overview of Unit

Learning Activity 3:  Reading Workshop Time:  The 5 R's

(8:30-9:30)
Required (R) Rapping about Responses to Text  
Each classmate will have 15 minutes to share the current outline/plans for her Digital Narrative Student Assignment, including Completing a StoryBoard, Drafting all Text and Locating/Creating all Images for your Digital Narrative.
